What an amazing little phrase and one that many an artist and non-artist can relate to. No time to paint, have to catch up on cleaning .. the home, the dishes, the ... No time to organize my photographs, have to clean the car and get her tuned up. It has been a while since I have posted an addition to my blog. My father passed away in February and as anyone who has lost a beloved parent/family member knows, it takes a while to adjust to the 'new norm'. I miss my dad tremendously! He was an excellent, skilled artist ~I wish he would have taken the brushes up for the second time a lot earlier! Be that as it may, I am very thankful he was able to create a few paintings to treasure.

Today has been truly a delight! I had such a lovely time meeting other local artists this evening at the Mayflower Arts Center in Troy, Ohio...such wonderful and inspiring talent!
